Only eight months after the opening, Oitavos Dunes hosted its first Professional Tournament.

The Europro Tour serves as a stepping stone for young players who wish to break into the Challenge and European Tours. This was the perfect stage for Oitavos Dunes to enter the world of Championship golf.
